“Nous Ideas” is a registered trademark established in 2021 and takes its name from the pre-Socratic thinkers who were active in western philosophy. Nous is Greek in origin and means "mind" or "spirit". It is also an immaterial principle that is considered to be the universal "reason" and therefore regulating the universe. As a brand that aims to have art in every aspect of our lives. Each collection of Nous Ideas offers different stories by aiming for the user to find a piece of themself. Hand-drawn patterns inspired by nature are produced in limited numbers by applying nature-friendly special printing technique on vegan fabric made from 100% recyclable and plant fibers.

Gülcan Özbek (Istanbul-1995) She first encounter with an art by studying Art & Design in High School and graduated from the Decorative Arts department with an honor. Özbek continued her education at Marmara University Fine Arts Faculty Textile Design Department and she graduated with Art-Printing major in 2018. Currently, she continues her education for 2nd major in Philosophy and manage "Nous Ideas" brand she started in 2021. Özbek, who sees fabric as a canvas and works with this meticulousness, aims to transform every pattern into a work of art with the message she wants to convey. Gülcan sees her Nous idea designs as a tool to demonstrate her artistic vision and her stories.
