Ali Reza Ghoojari 1968 yılında Batı Azerbaycan'ın Naghdeh şehrinde kültür ve edebiyat sevgisiyle dolu bir ailede doğdu. Dönemin önemli özel kız okulu kurucularından olan veteriner baba ve öğretmen anne sayesinde Ali Reza çok erken yaşlarda doğa ve hayvan sevgisi yanında sanat ve edebiyat ile tanıştı. İlkokul yıllarında Iranlı şairlerin birçok şiirlerini ezberledi. Hayyam, Baba Taher, Parvin ve Shahryar gibi şairlerin büyük eserlerinden ilham aldı. Van Gogh gibi batı sanatçılarının çalışmalarından evdeki antik gramofondan duyduğu müziğe kadar uzanan gençliğinin etkileri sanat hayatının dönüm noktası oldu. Devam eden yıllarda Meşhed şehrinde aldığı ziraat mühendisliği eğitimi çağdaş sanatların çeşitliliği hakkındaki anlayışını oluşturdu. Büyülendiği çevre ve botanik onu doğaya aşık etti. Çimler normal insanların gördüğü gibi onun için hiçbir zaman aynı yeşil olmadı. Ailesinin ve arkadaşlarının desteğini alarak geliştirdiği sanat-doğa ve sevgi üçlemesiyle hayal ettiği dünyada yerini bulan Ali Reza’nın sanat hayatı farklı dönemlerden oluştu. Bir çok yaşam öyküleri anlatan "Masalımız” adlı çalışma koleksiyonu ile tanınan Ali Reza sosyal ve felsefi temaları sorgulayan "4 Kel Adam” ile ünlendi. Çalışmalarını "Yapraksız Bahçe" projesi takip etti; dışavurumcu, sembolik bir tarzda ağaç benzeri figürler onun metafor simgelerini oluşturdu. Alçı, lif ve plexus büst ve heykelleriyle ün yaptı. Duvar resimleri, dev reklam afişleri ve canlı performansları onu farklı boyutlara taşıdı. Çok sevdiği annesinin ölümünden sonra, yerine koyduğu, kollarında, fantezi ve gerçeklik arasındaki sınırların birleştiğini hissettiği "Tabiat Ana”ya sarıldı. Onunla dans etmeye başladı. Botanik çılgınlığı hiç şüphesiz onun duygusal ve enerjisini müzik eşliğinde dans ederek yaptığı resimlerinde izleyicilere aktardı. Ali Reza’nın tarzı tuval üzerindeki müziğe dans eden renk motiflerine sahip bir dışavurumculuk; bir tür fraktal sanat. Ali Reza Ghoojari çocukluğundan kalan music ve botanik keşfinin mütevazı yolculuğunda canlı ritüel sanatını açık ve kapalı alanlarda izleyici önünde gerçekleştiriyor. Performansıyla hissediyor, dans ediyor, resmetiyor…

Ali Reza Ghoojari  was born in 1968 in the city of Naghdeh into a distinguished family steeped in a love of culture and literature. His father, a veterinarian, and his mother, a teacher and founder of girls' schools, introduced him to the poetic canon of Iran. By the age of 13, Ali Reza had memorized many poems of many great Iranian poets such as Khayyam, Baba Taher, Parvin and Shahryar became the soil from which he took inspiration. The influences of his youth, ranging from artists like Vincent Van Gogh to the music coming from the ancient gramophone, developed his understanding of the variety of contemporary arts. Continuing his formal education in agricultural engineering in the City of Mashhad was to be a turning point in his life. He became fascinated by botany, and fell in love with nature. Grass no longer wore the same green and he found his place in the natural world. Surrounded by the support of family and friends, his next step was to understand the history of ancient Iranian art and its place in that world. His artistic life has consisted of a variety of distinct periods. One collection of work called "Our Tale”, tells many life stories. He is perhaps better known for the ‘4 bald men’ who question social and philosophical themes. "The Leafless Garden" project followed; tree-like figures in an expressionist, symbolic style. At the same time, with gypsum, fibre and plexus, he began creating busts and sculptures. Murals and giant advertising banners extended his body of current works. After the death of his mother, he sought refuge in Mother Nature. In her arms, he felt, boundaries between fantasy and reality merged: "The ‘Botanic Madness’ began and I danced without any doubt; I danced with music in every picture I painted. And I shared my feelings and energies with others and love began.” For four years Ali Reza has been working and performing live on the project of painting music. His style of work is an Expressionism with color motifs forming a dance to the music on the canvas; a kind of fractal art. On the humble journey of botanic discovery, he performs his live ritualistic art in the presence of an audience, in the open air.
